Sarah graduated from the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, Aberdeen having studied Interior Architecture as her undergraduate programme.  This was followed by a post graduate year in the Masters of Architecture programme, Aberdeen, for which her joint project (in a team of two) was awarded the Aberdeen Society of Architects Silver Medal, in 2005.

Sarah joined Neil Sutherland Architects LLP on graduation, in 2005.  Prior to this Sarah’s experience of architectural practice had principally been gained in Dublin, Eire with Michael Collins Associates, where she worked on a number of urban projects.

In 2006, Sarah qualified as an architect, and is actively involved in a number of projects. In March 2009 she became an approved section 6 certifier of design for domestic buildings.
